  • I was browsing through the IKEA 2009 catalogue i got from Melbourne Central today after gym, and boy i must say i do miss living in a home instead of apartments!

I'm sick of apartments and the restrictions it is implying on my life.

Its like indirectly sabotaging the little bit of freedom i have within that so little space

I know i shouldn't complain considering the fact that college sq is a v. good accomodation already but sigh i love living in places with pretty and proper furniture with the colour schemes i like

and it should be not too far from the city but not too near either

i'll be moving to micasa (a few blocks down swanston str) next year IF i'm still in melbourne but its also an apartment

maybe i'll ask mum whether i can move to somewhere else in 2nd or 3rd yr? but the chances she agrees will be very slim i guess.

On the other note, my personal plans/ list to do in the term 3 holidays:

    1. Go to gym everyday to slim down for ball! (HIGHPRIORITY!)
    2. Study/ Practice math (HIGHPRIORITY!)
    3. Prepare T4 EAP presentation
    4. Study chemistry
    5. Study accounting
    6. Read King Lear Hamlet
    7. Visit a new suburb/place in melb (box hill?docklands?camberwell market?)
    8. Wash bedsheet, pillow cases
    9. Clean/ rearrange apartment, my wardrobe
    10. learn more about photography/ DSLR stuff

....and more to come will add it in when i remember

gotta complete accounting essay& accounting hw tonight!

  • After three months here i suddenly noticed today that the Australian education system here do actually practice a whole lot of this critical analysis and thinking thing they've been repeating and repeating all these while since day one.Which is so much unlike secondary schools back home where the curriculum is claimed to be improvised year to year stating all the misi and visi bullshit facts about training students on being critical, creative and independent thinkers but doing none of it in the actual matter of fact, its pure memorizing! good example? sejarah and moral.

I've got so much to improve on. My english language proficiency is not fantastic enough to suit the academic needs here, my vocabs are somewhat limited and I'm just being not quite critical enough to handle the tasks here.

I like my History of Ideas tutor. He've got this sort of sarcastic way of putting things, but I like his style.

I'm glad i took Accounting as an extra subject in SPM last year, or i'll be a total blur case in Accounting lectures and tutes here in Trinity. I'm not smart enough to be able to catch up with the speed they teach things here. Things we take two or three whole months to learn and practice back home is covered in two or three weeks! Imagine that. So the entire weekly two-whole-hour torture-for-two-whole-years process with lois in the L-shaped squeezy must-crawl-underneath-table-to-reach-the-opposite-side-of-the-table room is worth it afterall. At least i don't feel like a total idiot by merely following others to take up this extra subject and not getting anything beneficial out of it at the end of the day.

Yawn i'm such a boring person. Why am i blogging about college and academic stuff every single day? Ok, no more studies-related-stuff on the next post.

I love chemistry and accounting! I'm such a geek.

  • geee oh my goodness.

i don't exactly know how to say this but some people really, really disgust the guts outta me.

its like, how could a sane 16 year old girl possibly think about such things and post it on her blog for knowingly-the-whole-world-would-read-her-blog readers to read!

some people just need the attention too much, waaaaayy too much.

    i feel like puking.
